Happy Winter

With the website still under construction, and Nick finishing up the edited photographs. I figured a little sumthin', sumthin' would be a nice offering. Monica and Shelby were great models, and relying on Nick to capture my garments has always been the best choice for me.

Setting the Mood

I especially like to design after reading a good novel. I like developing what each of the characters are wearing, which in a sense leads to an entire collection. It was a Summer ago when I had reread Ernest Hemingway's, The Sun Also Rises, and now with the present season I can't help but dive into Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Once again, a theme repeated: layers, layers, layers.

These Gray Days

Finally experiencing consecutive cold days, I've changed my mindset when getting dressed each morning. I like the idea of matching the overall tones of the weather outside.
